Photo Dump – Emirates Park Zoo

A couple of weeks ago we went to Emirates Park Zoo.  It was AMAZING.   Completely unlike any zoo we have ever been to, it’s kinda like an extreme petting zoo.  We got there as soon as they opened to try to avoid the crowd and it totally worked out to our advantage.  I definitely plan on taking Alana there during a school day, I mean, homeschoolers need field trips, too 😉

Look at Alana's flared nostrils!

What you can't see: Alana was holding a bunch of grass...this happy little giraffe walked right up to Alana and grabbed her entire bunch of grass out of her lap. Insert a panicked, screaming eight year old, and a fairly concerned four year old. Seriously wish I had video of this.
